We will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA. This page describes the information that should be present in these notices and the procedures we follow.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content on our website infringes your copyright, please provide us with a written notice containing the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered, a representative list of such works.

Please note that we may share your notice with the user who posted the allegedly infringing content. We may also publish your notice (with personal information redacted) to a public database of DMCA notices.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  1. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
  3. Your name, address, and telephone number
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
  5. Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat Infringers

It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts at our sole discretion.

False Notices

Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

We reserve the right to seek damages from any party that submits a false or fraudulent DMCA notice.

Our Response to DMCA Notices

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:

  • Review the notice for completeness and compliance with DMCA requirements
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
  • Notify the user who posted the content
  • Provide the user with information about the counter-notification process

We typically respond to valid DMCA notices within 1-2 business days. However, response times may vary depending on the complexity of the case.
